1) deciding about after prom

Hello Sturgis Parents,
We have three main tasks at our next SPA meeting 10/14 at 6:30:
1) To set the SPA calendar for the year
2) Identify the chairpersons of the Auction and After Prom
3) Identify other committees chairs and committee members
The good news is that Krsana Henry has agreed to
mentor the new Auction Chairperson and consult on a regular basis.
I look forward to seeing you at this meeting, and hope that you will
help our SPA help Sturgis.

Dear Sturgis Parents,
The Sturgis Parents Association (SPA), open to all parents in the Sturgis Charter School community, continues to meet the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. At the June meeting, we hope to have nominations to the SPA Offices. We will also be looking ahead to next year's calendar.

Message from Retiring SPA Chair Erica Brown
Dear New and Current Sturgis Parents,
It has been my pleasure to serve as the President of The Sturgis Parents Association (SPA). Next Monday, June 8th at 7:00 pm, will be the last meeting that I chair so anyone interested in running for President of SPA should plan on attending. The Secretary position is also available for next year. I hope to continue to work on the after-prom (our after-prom this year occurred May 30th and was a lot of fun!) and participate in some fundraising for SPA next year.

Dear Sturgis Parents,
The Sturgis Parents Association (SPA), open to all parents in the Sturgis Charter School community, continues to meet the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. The after-prom is this month so we need to do our final planning. Anyone interested in helping with the after-prom should plan on attending. Also, if you're interested in running for a SPA office for next year, please plan on attending. SPA President, Erica Brown, will be retiring at the end of this school year. At the May 11th meeting we will be discussing the following:

Meeting Agenda: April 13th, 2009
Dear Sturgis Parents, The Sturgis Parents Association (SPA), open to all parents in the Sturgis Charter School community, continues to meet the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. At the April 13th meeting we will be hearing from our schools guidance counselors: Beverly Fogg and Carol Vari. This should be an informative discussion for all parents from next year's incoming Freshmen (class of '13) to this year's graduating seniors (class of '09)!

For those parents of juniors and younger this should be an informative meeting as CAS requirements have changed for the class of 2010 and beyond. In addition we will be discussing the following:

Public School at 427 Main St. Hyannis at 6:30 p.m. on the second
Monday each month. If a Holiday falls on the Monday, meetings
