Meeting Agenda: October 13th, 2009

Hello Sturgis Parents,

We have three main tasks at our next SPA meeting 10/14 at 6:30:

1) To set the SPA calendar for the year
2) Identify the chairpersons of the Auction and After Prom
3) Identify other committees chairs and committee members

The good news is that Krsana Henry has agreed to
mentor the new Auction Chairperson and consult on a regular basis.

I look forward to seeing you at this meeting, and hope that you will
help our SPA help Sturgis.

included some other events that we may want to become involved with.

Aug- Staff Breakfast (food & service)
Sept- Convocation Strawberry Social (food & service)
Dec- Xmas Stroll (cookies & service)
Autumn/winter- Alumni Dinner (pay for pizza & drinks)
Spring- Arts Festival (food & service)
Spring- Fund Raising Auction (advertising, items, food & service)
May- After Prom (funding, transportation, food & service)
June- Staff Luncheon (food & service)
June- SPA scholarships (5@$500)
Spring- Golf outing (discuss)

Invited to be involved:
June- Alumni Softball (food & service)
Faculty/ Family sports events with Arts doing music or displays (food,
service, & game play)

Fall- Volleyball
Winter- Basketball
Spring- Softball

Student dances- Homecoming and/or Sadi Hawkins

A Game night (ie: Faculty/Family Feud or Jeopardy) - - subjects for all
ages (maybe geography, science, history)

A "Festival" (food, art, music) competition or not
