Fun and exciting fundraisers to benefit the 2010 Prom Committee!
All of you New England Patriots fans line up now to purchase raffle tickets for a prized 2009 Patriots helmet signed by legendary linebacker Tedy Bruschi! Don’t miss your opportunity to own a piece of Patriots history. Tickets will be on sale at school and at upcoming school events, including during Parent – Teacher conference day on November 23rd.
Also on that day their will be a tag sale of gently used household items. If you have any items to donate to the sale please bring them in this week so they can be tagged for the sale. The deadline for accepting items is Friday, November 13th.
Many thanks to everyone who has already donated items to this cause. Remember to shop the sales table for a “new” treasure on the 23rd.
Mr. Hyer’s Spicy Chili, made by Sturgis students under the tutelage of Mr. Hyer himself, will be on sale during the Parent-Teacher conferences. If you love spicy you’ll love this chili! Bam! Students involved with making the chili will be eligible to earn CAS credit. Support all of them by purchasing chili for lunch or dinner that day. Plans are to offer the opportunity to pre-order pints and quarts. More information on that will be available soon. Many thanks for your contributions of chili making supplies. We’ll be up to our ears in beans very soon, but beef broth and top round steak (pre-frozen) are being sought.
Kate Agel and some of our parents have volunteered their culinary talents to provide us with an array of goodies to offer for purchase. So, save room for dessert!
A special thanks to everyone who has generously donated supplies for the on-going baking Kate is doing for our weekly sales. She’s been making some delicious treats to everyone’s delight. Kate says she now has plenty of chocolate chips but could make use of unsweetened baking chocolate and brown sugar.
Through the generous support of the Sturgis school community the prom committee reaps many rewards for their fundraising efforts by being able to purchase their decorations, favors, invitations and pay for their entertainment. We sincerely appreciate all that you contribute!
