Auction Chair Needed

Greetings, Sturgis Community!

Prom has been scheduled for May 29, 2010. Since that is Memorial Day weekend, providing an afterprom will be more important than ever as the main purpose of our afterprom is to keep our kids off the road and out of danger after the prom. We need an auction chairperson for Spauction 2010, which will be in the Spring. The auction is our only major fundraiser of the year.
We will not have an afterprom (due to lack of funds) if we do not have our annual auction.

I am not able to serve as chairperson this year.

However, I hope to be adopted as your consultant. Although I will not be available to travel and make any major time commitments, I am ready, willing, and able to pass on all the fabulous lessons learned last year.

I am ready and willing to consult on a regular basis with whoever feels inspired to accept this position. I will stay available to you throughout the entire process so that we can take advantage of the valuable groundwork laid and materials acquired last year. All you need is to have time available and be willing to do the work. And, remember, the committee that you will assemble will do much of the work with you.

Last year's auction was a smashing success and so was the afterprom. This year should be much easier since we do not need to recreate the wheel. If you have an interest in accepting the position of auction chair for 2010, please contact me to discuss.
